End-users – Prerequisites
The eduroam service is offered to researchers, employees, educators and students of the institutions that are members of the Restena community and therefore from the research and education sectors that have subscribed to the service.
Eligibility for eduroam
Prerequisite n°1 – You work or study in a research and education institution
eduroam is reserved for researchers, educators, students and employees in the research and education sectors of institutions in the research and education sectors in over 100 participating countries.
Prerequisite n°2 – Your institution has subscribed to the eduroam service
eduroam is activated at the participating institutions, its allocation is not automatic. Not only must your institution be eligible for the services offered by the Restena Foundation, but it must also have previously requested to be connected to the eduroam service and be one of the identity providers in Luxembourg.
Installation and configuration of eduroam
The connection is made through the partner institutions. Each institution defines the best way for you to access the eduroam network according to its own needs. You should therefore contact them for the installation and configuration of eduroam, but also in case of connection problems.
Using eduroam
As a user of the eduroam service in Luxembourg, you are subject to the policy of your identity provider and the general conditions of use at the hotspots.
