Identity Providers – Assisted-implementation
Have you decided to offer eduroam to your staff and students but you do not have the necessary IT knowledge and resources? No problem, the eduroam Managed Idp solution has been designed to simplify the implementation of eduroam.
To find out more about eduroam Managed IdP:
- visit the service website;
- check out the eduroam Managed IdP guide for IdP administrators on the GÉANT Association Wiki.
Step 1 – Request your access
Restena’s eduroam Luxembourg team installs all the technical infrastructure needed to issue and revoke credentials and to verify and grant access to logins. No local installation on your servers is necessary. This operation is transparent.
Step 2 – Access a web-based management interface
The eduroam Luxembourg technical team provides you with a web management interface where you can add, create and update all the credentials of your users who need access to eduroam.
Step 3 – Read and sign the eduroam policy
To definitely validate your access to eduroam, your institution must accept the ‘eduroam Luxembourg policy’.
The duly completed and signed document is to be sent by email to feedback@eduroam.lu or by post to the Restena Foundation.
